Course Policy

Registration: Enrollment, Sit-in, and Class Transfers
Enrollment
Students are enrolled as students in WI2012 by:
- Registering through SIX according to available classes,
- Printing the KSM, and
- signing the study contract.
Incorrect class registration will result in a failed enrollment status.
Discrepancies on National ID: Students with discrepancies in belief/religion data on their official documents may register as students of WI2012 by providing:
- A statement letter from a church congregation where the student resides, or
- A statement letter from the Academic Advisor and/or Study Program.
Please contact the Lecturer/Class Assistant for such requests.
Sit-in
- Students not yet registered in SIX are allowed to sit-in until the PRS ends.
- Sit-in students must attend at least one class lecture before PRS opens, or may risk failing the course due to their attendance is below threshold.
- Sit-in students are required to finalize their registration through SIX and print their KSM when the PRS opens.
Request sit-in attendance with your Class Assistants.
Class Transfers:
- Class transfers are considered sit-in until the PRS period ends; follow the sit-in procedure.
- Students must finalize their transfer by taking a different SIX Class when PRS opens, or by applying through the Academic Directorate/Study Program Office.
- Students are prohibited from transferring between WI2012 classes after the PRS period has ended.
Classes: Attendance and Leaves
Attendance
- Students are required to attend class sessions according to the SIX Class they registered for.
- Student attendance is recorded via SIX or manual attendance sheets.
- Late attendance exceeding 15 minutes is considered an absence, except for urgent and verifiable reasons.
- An attendance status of minimum 80% is required to be eligible for a course grading.
Leaves
Students may apply for a leave under the following conditions:
- The application is submitted at least 2 hours before the lecture begins.
- Attach an approved permit/supporting letter.

The following types of permission requests are considered acceptable:
- A medical certificate issued by an outpatient or inpatient physician; or
- A medical statement issued by a parent or legal guardian, accompanied by the parent’s or guardian’s name and contact number; or
- An official letter from the Study Program confirming participation in a replacement class, laboratory session, field course, or studio activity; or
- An official letter issued by the Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) confirming participation in competitions or off-campus activities as an official representative of the university or the country, or other activities subsequently approved by ITB.
Permission requests based on the following reasons will not be accepted:
- Student association activities;
- Other student organizational activities without official approval from ITB as a formal representation;
- Activities organized by off-campus organizations;
- Non-urgent family matters.
Attendance Status
For each session:
- Students present according to policy will be marked as Present (P).
- Students with approved permits will be marked as Excused Absence (E) or Sick Leave (S).
- Otherwise, they will be marked as Absent/No Remark (A).
Total attendance is calculated from the number of lecture sessions (N) minus the number of Absent/No Remark (A) entries.
Integrity
Students who commit any form of attendance forgery will be sanctioned with score cancellation and given an E grade. Forgery includes, but is not limited to:
- signing attendance for other students,
- marking presence but not attending the lecture,
- marking presence but arriving more than 15 minutes late,
- leaving the class before the lecture ends,
- submitting unverifiable letters/documentation.
Exams
Students are registered as exam participants if:
- they are registered in SIX and have printed their KSM.
- there are no academic integrity cases.
- Absent/No Remark (A) status does not exceed 3 times.
- final attendance is at least 80%.
Daily Devotional and Mentoring
Information for Daily Devotional and Mentoring will be available during PRS.
